The following measures were passed by the 2007 Legislature CONDOMINIUMS Act 243 Limits the use of the condominium association member lists by the managing agent Act 241 Limits the costs the association can charge to members for association records to reasonable costs. Clarifies that reasonable costs include administrative and duplicating costs Act 21 Amends section 35 of Act 164 SLH 2004 to remove sunset and reenactment of section 514B-146, HRS, relating to assessments and liens with respect condominiums Act 242 Establishes requirements for condominium management dispute resolution Act 244 Adds three new parts to chapter 514A, Hawaii Revised Statutes, in order to reenact parts I, V, and VII, of chapter 514A, Hawaii Revised Statutes, that were repealed by section 26 of Act 164, Session Laws of Hawaii 2004. Makes clarifying amendments to various provisions of condominium law TIME SHARE Act 6 Requires disclosure that operation of a foreign time share plan is exempt from regulation under Hawaii law. Provides for loss of exemption for failure to abide by requirements |
